Kitanakagusku Village has a small sunflower festival every year.
Farmers planted large plots of sunflowers between their other crops.
The flowers are now around 4′ tall.
A few vendors were set up selling food, but not near what you would expect when you hear festival in Okinawa.
I actually heard about it from a friend. She suggested not going on the weekend, so I took the kids on Thursday afternoon.
It was drizzling and there was no one there, besides the two lone people selling food.
I’m not a photographer (I just like taking lots of pictures), but you get the idea from the pictures.
