Sitting in a house with no furniture is no fun, so I’ve been scouring the internet looking for things to do. The Orange County Fair is going on right now, so I suggested it to the husband. We started looking at what concerts were going on and when I saw there was a Neil Diamond tribute concert, I pretty much started screaming that we had to go. He nixed that idea really fast, so we agreed on seeing the bull riding on Saturday night.
The fair was huge! It was by far the biggest county fair I had ever been too. Military and the kids got in free, so we only had to pay for the women. We blew all that money saved and then some on rides though. Our friends have a two year old, so the girls had a blast riding different stuff. There was so many food stands that we didn’t eat anything. We gawked at some of it, but it would have been hard to decide where to start. We did watch the bull riding and managed to sneak in part of the Neil Diamond concert. It was free, so we watched while the guys took the kids on more rides. We all had a blast. If watching bull riding and Neil Diamond impersonators at the county fair doesn’t scream America, then I don’t know what does.
