Leprechauns are looking for the gold at the end of the rainbow right? How about gold your kids will love? I blew up green balloons using my Balloon Time helium tank and attached to them to little pots of gold. The gold just happens to be Oreo’s I covered with edible spray paint. I’ve never seen kids so excited and so willing to help!
Green Balloons – Many party stores sell them individually and I bought a couple different shades of green.
Pots of Gold – I found little gold buckets at Party City.

Spray Food Coloring – I used Wilton’s Color Mist in gold.
Using the spray food coloring, coat the Oreo’s. You’ll have to let one side dry before flipping them to do the other side. I gave them each two coats.
Once they are dry, fill up whatever you are using for the pot.
Blow up your green balloons with the helium tank and tie the gold ribbons to them.
Tie the balloons to the pots and you’re done!
Blow up two green balloons with the helium tank and tie them together.
Then blow up two more green balloons and tie them together.
Fit the two sets of balloons together in a clover pattern.
Tie them together if you can or secure them with a ribbon.
Tape on the back makes it easy to stick to the wall.
