Veteran’s Day is November 11. As a country, we need to make sure we honor all our veteran’s, past and present. Many companies do this by offering vets a free meal or dessert with their meal. It’s a wonderful thing and I know many that take advantage of it and are thankful for it. Once you’ve got a family and kids though, it’s sometimes hard to take advantage of these offers. Having to get a sitter for a night out with your spouse or maybe not being able to afford a night out for the entire family.
Chuck E. Cheese’s has got an offer that can’t be passed up this year. On Veteran’s Day, they will be offering one free personal pizza to all active and retired military members at participating stores nationwide. The discounted offers are valid for active duty military, individual ready reserves, former members in receipt of retired pay and their families. A Uniformed Services ID card or Common Access Card is required at the point of purchase with a limit of one discount per military service member.
I don’t know if you’ve been to Chuck E. Cheese’s lately, but they have improved their menu and I promise you’ll like it. If you aren’t a pizza fan, they also have a salad bar, plenty of side items, and some locations have beer on tap. Their pizza is good too. I’m not just saying that either. They’ve overhauled it and it really is good. Since Veteran’s Day is on Friday this year, take the kids out for dinner, and let them play as long as they want. You can play too. It wouldn’t be any fun if you couldn’t!
Check their site for locations near you, as well as deals to get extra tickets and tokens for the kids!
