I’m a big fan of veterans (I did marry one) and I’m supportive of most anything they do. Almost anything. But when they start a business, I want to support them. I’ll give them my money, buy their product, and occasionally keep coming back for more because it’s that good.
New Man Revolution is a veteran owned company and they make all the good smelling man stuff. Stay with me here. Veterans–>Men in Uniform–>Hot–>Smell Delicious–>My Ovaries Melted. Tell me I’m wrong.
New Man Revolution was stated in 2014 when co-founder Ryan realized that the products he had used his whole life were packed with chemicals and other harmful ingredients. Fueled by his desire to be more aware of his health, Ryan started formulating NMR’s natural products. After his own transformation, Ryan wanted to share the same knowledge with others. Dale and Eric joined the team and together the three have sparked a revolution by creating craft men’s products that have men’s best interest at heart. NMR believes that a healthy man strengthens his community just as a healthy woman empowers hers. NMR also gives portions of their profit to Veterans organizations and cancer research foundations, during focused campaigns throughout the year. Currently, NMR gives 5% of our net profit to America’s Vet Dogs.
They sent me a bottle of the Bold Awakening Body Wash to test. The goal was for the husband to try it, but the 11 year old saw it and got all excited. He loves ‘man’ products. I have to buy him manly smelling body wash and shampoo. The New Man Revolution bottle says its 110% manly. Right up that kids alley, so I hid it from him. The husband used it and said it was fine. He’s not much help, but that means he liked it. If he didn’t, he would have told me. He’s a man of many words. You should here how often he tells me pretty things (that means never). So, I started using it. It has peppermint in it and smells a bit minty, which is not a smell I’m fond of. Using it though, the mint smell doesn’t linger and I just smelled clean and fresh. That’s what I want to smell like and it’s what I want the husband to smell like. It also didn’t dry my skin out.
I would use this body wash every day. I have been. I like that it’s not an in your face smell like some (cough, Axe). Funny story, one time years ago, the husband was gone. TDY or deployed or something. I was at work and noticed I smelled like a dude. I started wondering if someone had hugged me or something. Why did I smell like that? A few hours later, I remembered that I had used the husband’s body wash (which may have been Axe, this was like 12 years ago) to finish off the bottle and get it out of the shower. I never made that mistake again. Blech.
Anyways, Valentine’s Day is coming up and this is the PERFECT thing to get him. I never know what to get the husband, but we would both benefit from body wash or manpoo. Buy the products individually, as a set, or put them on subscription and have them delivered every 3 months.
